  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling by mixing cubed peaches with sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water; set aside.
  2. Make the dough by combining water, bread flour, sugar, yeast, salt, milk, cream, egg, tangzhong, and vanilla until smooth. Knead in softened butter until elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the peach filling over it. Sprinkle thin peach slices and cinnamon sugar on top before rolling tightly.
  5. Cut into individual rolls and place on a lined baking sheet; allow them to rise again.
