  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 slices bread, torn into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder (or finely chopped onion)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, milk, egg, torn bread, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder (or chopped onion), salt, mustard, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 60 to 75 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Allow it to rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
