  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 12 ounces King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 rolls)
  • 12 slices smoked turkey (thinly sliced or shaved)
  • 12 slices Monterey Jack or Colby Jack cheese
  • Poppy seeds (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small pot over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard until well combined.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally while still attached.
  4. Generously brush the glaze mixture onto both insides of the rolls, reserving some glaze for later.
  5. In a baking dish, place the bottom half of the rolls and layer with turkey and cheese before placing the top half back on.
  6. Brush remaining glaze over the top and sprinkle with poppy seeds if desired.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes until heated through.
