  • 8 ounce package cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • 8 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  3. Separate crescent rolls into eight rectangles and seal any perforations.
  4. Brush melted butter over each rectangle and sprinkle with light brown sugar.
  5. Roll up each rectangle tightly from one long side and pinch edges to seal.
  6. Coil each rolled piece into a spiral shape and create room in the center for filling.
  7. Place on a nonstick-sprayed baking sheet and fill each coil with cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. For glaze, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth; drizzle over warm danishes before serving.
