  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla chips
  • 4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Chop the onion and shred the cheeses; set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess liquid.
  4. Stir in salsa, chopped onion, mayonnaise, chili powder, and cumin until well combined.
  5. Layer half of the beef mixture in the casserole dish, followed by half of the crushed tortilla chips and half of each type of cheese.
  6. Repeat with remaining beef mixture, tortilla chips, and cheese.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
