Grilled Chicken Wings are an irresistible treat for any gathering, from summer barbecues to cozy family dinners. These wings are juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make with just a handful of ingredients. The brining process keeps the chicken moist while a delightful lemon garlic sauce adds a zesty kick.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds chicken wings (party size cut into two pieces)
  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brine: In a large bowl, mix salt, sugar, and water until dissolved. Submerge chicken wings in the brine and refrigerate for two hours.
  2. Make the sauce: Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until lightly browned. Stir in lemon juice, black pepper, onion powder, oregano, and honey; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Grill the wings: Preheat grill to 350°F (175°C). Remove wings from brine and shake off excess liquid. Grill for about 20 minutes, flipping every five minutes until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Apply sauce: Dip each wing into the lemon sauce thoroughly and return to grill for an additional two minutes per side to caramelize.
  5. Serve hot: Remove from grill and enjoy immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
