  • 16 oz egg noodles
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Beef broth
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • Onion powder
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with chopped onions and seasonings (garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, onion powder, thyme).
  3. Drain excess grease; set beef mixture aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced mushrooms until browned.
  5. Stir in flour and gradually add beef broth while whisking to create a smooth sauce; bring to a boil for a few minutes.
  6. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream until combined; return the ground beef mixture to the skillet.
  7. Serve hot over cooked egg noodles garnished with fresh parsley.
