  • 1 lb raw shrimp (medium or large)
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 8 white corn tortillas
  • 1/2 small purple cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 large avocado (diced)
  • 1/2 red onion (diced)
  • 4 oz Cotija cheese (grated)
  • Olive oil and spices (garlic, sea salt, black pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, and Sriracha sauce. Set aside.
  2. Prepare toppings: shred cabbage, dice avocado and red onion, chop cilantro.
  3. Season thawed shrimp with garlic, sea salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat; sauté shrimp until opaque (about 1–2 minutes per side).
  5. Warm tortillas in a skillet or over a flame.
  6. Assemble tacos by layering toppings on each tortilla followed by cooked shrimp and drizzle sauce before serving.
