  • 12 lasagna noodles (cooked)
  • 16 oz ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and cool.
  3. In a deep pan, cook ground beef until browned, adding onions and garlic until softened.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and spread some on the bottom of a casserole dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, mozzarella, and parsley.
  6. Spread cheese mixture onto noodles, top with meat sauce, then roll them up.
  7. Place seam-side down in the dish; cover with remaining meat sauce and mozzarella.
  8. Bake covered for 40 minutes; uncover and broil for a few more minutes until golden.
