  • 1 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

  2. Place cornstarch in one bowl and beaten eggs in another. Coat each chicken piece in cornstarch, then dip into the egg mixture.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together sugar, ketchup, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic salt until well combined.
