Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Yellow Onion (sliced)
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Beef Broth

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into flat patties and set aside.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the patties along with sliced onions. Cook until the patties are browned and cooked through, then remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk together flour with any remaining grease to create a roux. Stir for 2–3 minutes before adding beef broth gradually to avoid lumps.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet and simmer until the gravy thickens.
