  • 5 Italian Bread Boules
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound spaghetti noodles
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cups pasta sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Olive oil
  • Minced garlic
  • Yellow onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • Paprika
  • Onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onions for about 3–4 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30–45 seconds before draining excess grease.
  3. Season the beef mixture with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in pasta sauce and then toss in cooked spaghetti until well combined.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut tops off bread boules and hollow them out slightly.
  5. Combine melted butter with garlic powder and baste the insides of each boule. Fill generously with the spaghetti mixture and top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 5–10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.
