  4. Shape the mixture into four equal patties, about ½-inch thick, pressing an indentation in the center of each.
  5. Place patties in the air fryer basket without overlapping and cook at 380°F for 5 minutes.
  6. Flip burgers and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  7. If using cheese, add it on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
