  • 2 tablespoons white whole wheat flour (for the topping)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for the topping)
  • 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter (cut into cubes) (for the topping)
  • 1/3 cup walnuts (chopped) (for the topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, and cinnamon; whisk until blended.
  3. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, applesauce, honey, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter; whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir gently with a spatula until just combined; fold in chopped apples.
  5. For the crumble topping, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon in a small bowl; add cold butter cubes and mix until crumbly before stirring in walnuts.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and top with crumble mixture.
  7. Bake for approximately 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
