  • 1.5 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 oz onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 20 Ritz crackers
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup diced yellow onions
  • 21 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 x 10.5 oz cans)
  • 0.87 oz brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, onion soup mix, and milk.
  2. Crush the Ritz crackers in a Ziploc bag and add them to the mixture; mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into four patties.
  4. Brown the patties in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden on both sides, then remove from heat.
  5. Spray inside your Crock Pot with cooking spray and layer diced onions at the bottom.
  6. Place browned patties on top and pour in the cream of mushroom soup mixed with brown gravy and beef broth.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours.
  8. After cooking, thicken sauce with a corn starch-water mixture and return patties to cook for an additional 10 minutes.
