  • 1 pound lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 25 ounce jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Turn on the Instant Pot sauté function and brown the ground beef or turkey until cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; stir to combine.
  3. Break spaghetti in half and lay it in different directions across the pot.
  4. Pour tomato sauce and marinara sauce over the spaghetti without stirring.
  5. Secure the lid, set to pressure cook for 7 minutes (or 5 minutes for whole wheat), then perform a quick release once done.
  6. Stir well before letting it rest for 3-5 minutes, then serve.
