  • 16 oz colby jack cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
  2. Cook cavatappi pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in seasonings followed by flour; cook until bubbling.
  4. Gradually whisk in evaporated milk and heavy cream until thickened.
  5. Add half of the shredded cheeses until melted and smooth.
