  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups crushed strawberries
  • 7 ounces sweetened condensed milk (half of a 14-ounce can)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 fresh strawberries (halved)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, brown sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl; press into the bottom and sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake for about 12 minutes until lightly golden; cool completely.
  3. Mash the strawberries by hand or use a blender for smooth consistency.
  4. In another bowl, beat together sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, and gelatin until smooth. Gently fold in the mashed strawberries.
  5. Whip one cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form; fold into the strawberry mixture until combined.
  6. Spread the filling evenly into the cooled crust and freeze for at least 8 hours.
  7. Before serving, whip remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form; top pie slices with whipped cream and halved strawberries.
