  • Fresh bread crumbs
  • Ground beef
  • Ground chicken sausage
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Onions, carrots, and celery
  • Crushed tomatoes
  • Beef broth
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine fresh bread crumbs and milk; let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in ground beef, chicken sausage, egg, grated onion, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until just combined.
  4. Form small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet; bake for 15 minutes until browned.
  5. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté onions, carrots, celery, and garlic in olive oil until tender.
  6. Stir in tomato paste and Italian seasoning; cook for 1 minute before adding crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Add baked meatballs to the soup along with milk; simmer gently for 5–10 minutes.
