Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef chuck
  • 1/2 pound ground sirloin
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 2 Campari tomatoes (sliced)
  • 4 slices Havarti cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef chuck, ground sirloin, pesto, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into four equal patties about ¾ inch thick with an indentation in the center.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on one side until browned; flip carefully.
  5. Add a slice of Havarti on each patty after flipping and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted and cooked through.
  6. Toast brioche buns if desired, then assemble by spreading light mayo mixed with Dijon mustard and minced garlic on both sides of each bun. Layer with lettuce, cheesy patties, sliced tomatoes, and drizzle balsamic glaze before topping.
